Bobbi’s Easiest Matte Brown Eye

By Blessmybag @blessmybag

I've been loving lots of Bobbi Brown again after awhile. Beauty brand appreciation ebbs and flows that way in my life, different things wash up on shore. What I've recently been showing by Bobbi are not press samples and funnily enough not my own purchases. Stella's mom, my aunt, was so happy with how I prepped my cousin for prom that she said I could pick out a few nice things at . Here's a quick post for you. The saleslady put this Bobbi Brown Long-wear Cream Shadow Stick in Sand Dune on my Tita's lids and immediately I was on it, I said I'd take one of these.

BOBBI’S EASIEST MATTE BROWN EYE

Sand Dune looked like a blended matte powder eyeshadow in a shade one could only describe in this way, it's like your lids (if you are a medium-fair as I am) put out a mat and lay basking in the sun...leaving behind a desert taupe effect that's subtle, yet noticeable. Read on to see the full effect, by day and by night.

A darker concealer in a similar texture would not probably work the same because that would crease more. These are particularly formulated to stay on your eyelids or work as a base beneath powdered eyeshadow. You can choose fingers to pat and blend but I prefer a small but dense crease brush for eyes like the Marionnaud one or a MAC 219 or 239.

So there I wanted to show you how it looks in different lighting situations. If you don't like fallout, don't like complicated blending, have discolored lids or visible capillaries, don't like brushes, and don't like makeup in general LOL a cream shadow stick product like this might just change your mind about having your lids go to the people prom stag with just mascara. This shade is not a dead matte from what I can tell it's a satin that leans toward matte, that texture is visible in the photo with flash. Please excuse my tired eyes here, I didn't get much sleep the night before. This was the same day shoot as the one for my MAC Velvet Teddy lipstick review. Obviously to get this effect on faces with darker skin you would have to choose a deeper shade from the Long-wear Cream Shadow Stick range...they do have a selection. This Long-wear Cream Shadow Stick in Sand Dune by Bobbi brown costs either Php1650 or 1750, I'll edit one out when I confirm.
