Although not specifically a blemish treatment concealer this Corrective Spot Treatment from Bobbi Brown is an all round wonder for your skin. Recently reformulated, the product is so pigmented yet so light in texture any dark marks, under eye circles, blemishes or redness can be instantly brightened and disguised. Over time it even promises to lighten the areas it is applied to and I have definitely started to noticed a change on the larger dark marks left by blemishes that have long since legged it.
The shade I have is Light Peach which is a perfect match for me, but it also comes in 5 other colours. The product is applied with a unique rounded rubber applicator which allows for more precision. No doe foot, sponge or brush nonsense here. And although weird at first it is a revelation. Just dot it onto the areas you need to cover and gently push and blend it into the skin.
It blends beautifully, but you only need a small dab of this as a little goes a really long way (as I haphazardly found out!). This also works really well as a base for my under eye concealer. Two small dots MAXIMUM blended under the eyes instantly brightens dark circles and gives my usual concealer something to hang onto therefore prolonging its wear.
This lasts all day easily on me, even without powder I was impressed by it’s staying power. The formula also contains SPF 25 thus preventing your dark spots being darkened further by the sun and it is non-drying on the skin. It never looks cakey or creases and is an overall incredible product.
I know I go on and on about the amazingness of Bobbi Brown products but I truly haven’t been disappointed by anything yet. This, in fact, might be my favorite thing I have tried from them. It is definitely my most used and I thank Bobbi for creating it. My only beef? It should come in a huge tube as this is something you need everyday. 4.5ml seems a little stingy…
