Hello Metalheads! Today I’m going to introduce a legendary Heavy Metal band from Greece called Blade Of Spirit, which is releasing soon in 2014 a Full Documentary of the band about their whole history, from their first underground days of 1996-97 till now.
Blade Of Spirit band was born in Kozani (Greece) on 1996 and they have been offering many shows around Greek territory over the years, with an active presence in the Greek Heavy Metal scene.
The band has played a lot of live gigs, festivals and concerts with bands like Omen, Anvil, Brocas Helm, Phantom-X, Denial Price, Horizon’s End, Crystal Tears, Mortal’s Dream, Everflow and many many more.
These guys also released three promo cd and three demo cd, one split cd and one official full-length album entitled “Shadow’s Race” (2005), in addition to one official dvd with Steel Gallery records, at the same time they have participated in many Greek Heavy Metal compilations.
In 2008 they released a limited edition dvd entitled “12 Blade Years” in which they retraces the Blade Spirit’s history as a band.
After some years, Blade Of Spirit returns in 2014 with some new ideas and stuff offering us a new version of their cult song “Count Dracula” from their first release “Odes To Carpathian Tales” (demo-tape, 1997). This brand new recording “Count Dracula” version of 2014 is a homage to the band’s past with a collaboration-surprise.
At the same time, these guys are releasing soon in the mid of 2014 a Full Documentary of Blade Of Spirit about their whole history, from their first underground days of 1996-97 till now, an interesting release exclusively for online purposes only, which I hope it will be a good retrace of the band.

Songs like “Hope Dies Last”, “Sedated Idols” or “Nacked Of Life”, taken from “Shadow’s Race” cd (2005), are highly recommended tracks from Blade Of Spirit. These songs are a very good show of the fresh and awesome Heavy Metal sound that these Greek guys offer us.
