How is the week going?
Today I am talking about something that I had raved about here…and before you move on to read it I guess I have to admit it I am probably the last blogger on earth to grab it so late!!!
Drum rolls….. It’s Betty Bright from Mac Archie’s collection
It is my very first and only Mac lipstick till date and thus it behold a special place!!First of all I will tell you about the packaging which was my no 1 reason to pick it up!! It’s so damn cute justifying its inspiration!!
The color is somewhere peach coral I can say… But Mac defines it as “light vibrant peach” with a satin finish!! The coverage is quite opaque but tends to settle in fine lines and can show dryness and chapped lips in second!! This is most certainly a bright coral shade that has equal pink and orange leanings. However I have to tell U that the deeper your skin tone the more neon and stark Bright Betty becomes.
The staying power was okay or…. To be honest no I wasn’t really happy as it stayed only for may be 3 and half hrs on me without food or water!! But then I forgive it cause it has a beautiful color and beautiful packaging!! And it has a very nice Vanilla scent to it which I do like!!
Price:- Rs 1100/- ( Mac has hiked them and I don’t know the current ones. HELP!!)
I think if you are about to wear Betty bright put some colors on your eyes or on your cheeks!! It will really compliment!!
Do I recommend it:- Well yes cause I love it, except for it longevity!!
In real life I guess I am neither Betty nor Veronica… I am somewhere a mix of both the ladies!!!
