Over the past two to three months, I made a few hauls to replenish the beauty or cosmetic products that I’ve used up! Been instagraming them but haven’t blog about my purchases. Most of my purchases came with freebies so they are really worth it! So here it is!
These is my haul from Laneige. I purchased my good old favourite water bank gel moisturizer, essence as well as foam cleanser moisture, white renew capsule sleeping mask and a blusher in 03 Angel Pink. I’ve gotten two travel size Laneige Water Sleeping Pack (adds up to 40ml in total), Serum Intense Lip Palette in 4 colours, as well as Pore Tight Trial Kit. You can count on me that the few products I purchased are really good! My cheeks tend to be dehydrated as I aged hence I really put in a lot of effort in terms of moisturizing the skin.
When it comes to the freebies, I really love the Serum intense lip palette as I get to try out all four hot colours without having to spend a bomb! And I hardly use up lip product so a compact palette like this is always welcome! The Pore Tight Trial Kit has proven to be effective in banishing clog pores and pimples, not so much on tightening pores though. I didn’t repurchase because I still have quite a few products targeting on my blemishes.
My haul from Estee Lauder was this set of products that came with the pouch. Initially I wanted to try out Estee Lauder new Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum but it works out to be more cost effective if I buy this set that comes with the full size Advanced Night Repair Eye Gel. This is the second time I’m using it and I must say this is my HOLYGRAIL. I’ve tried so many eye creams but nothing can be compared with this. This is the only eye gel that can help combat dark circles, fine lines and puffiness. I don’t think I will spend my money elsewhere anymore.
The set includes Micro Essence, ANR, Advanced Time Zone Night Cream and Double Wear Zero Smudge Lengthening Mascara. I’ve been using ANR and the Night Cream for awhile now. The two products have proven to be effective in evening up the skin tone and banish the tired skin look. As an anti-aging product, this is nourishing yet not heavy on the skin. After application, my skin exudes a radiance glow and doesn’t feel or look greasy. I’ve yet to discover the difference with ANR and my fav Kiehl’s Midnight Concentrate except for the texture. It seems like the effect is rather similar whichever product I use. I do tend to like Kiehl’s Midnight Concentrate a little better than ANR though which can be a little sticky.
As for the mascara, it is quite long lasting and makes the lashes look darker and fuller. But unfortunately it weighs my lashes down and doesn’t stay curl. This is definitely not something I’d repurchase.
I also purchased Sigma Mr Bunny Travel Set brushes from Luxola.com. This is my first Sigma brushes cos I reckon it is time to upgrade my tools! All these while I’ve been using Ecotools brushes which are good for the price but Sigma ones really blew my mind off the first time I use it! It is so smooth and soft on the skin and the quality is really good! The travel set brushes have everything that you need except for a lip brush and concealer brush. Otherwise, this is a really nice set to have!
