Maintain your coloured hair with Bare for Bare's NATURAL Rose & Kerarice colour protection Hair Care Range
To dye your hair is one thing but to maintain your hair at that original colour that was dyed is another thing. As seen in multiple of my recent photos, my hair is of multiple different colours. The thing about brightly coloured hair is that maintenance takes a lot of work, especially if your hair is bleached. I was so excited about this for I never had much luck with colour protection shampoos. However, before we hop in, let's touch more on the company, Bare for Bare.

In addition, it helps to prevents weak hair strands, dullness and brightens the hair. Rose and Kerarice were used due to their different benefits. If used over a long period of time, this will help one's hair be smoother, more moisturised and shinier. Of course, the coloured hair will also remain more vibrant for a longer period of time.

Both the shampoo and conditioner are 300ml each. Quite a decent shampoo and conditioner size. However, if 300ml worth of product each is too much, Bare for Bare offers gift sets. These gift sets contains 4 bottles of 60ml products in a travel pouch.
I like how the shampoo is designed, it feels very organic and minimalist. Plus, the labels are mattee. It gives me the impression of smooth wood because of it's brown shade.

On the first pump, a transparent liquid came oozing out of the nozzle. A nutty scent similar to almond oil hit my nose. Followed by a musky fragrance. As my nose dissected the smell, it can't identified any rose geranium scent in the mix. I tried to lather the shampoo and it does lather up quite an amount.

Alike the shampoo, the conditioner have a similar earthy packaging. However, instead of having a black name label, the conditioner have a white one. Be it black or white, I think that they both looked very elegant, especially with the earthy design to it. On top of that, the rose and kerarice graphics on the packaging fit in perfectly with the design.

From the first pump, the conditioner did look a lot more thicker and creamier. It have a similar musky and nutty scent like the shampoo. However the conditioner have a slight bitter after-smell to it. As I graze it across my palm, it felt smooth and buttery. Furthermore, it could be spread across my hair easily.
After using both the shampoo and conditioner for the first time, my hair did feel non-oily. However, my hair felt a bit over moisturized. In fact, it almost felt like the waxy-built up near the scalp - similar to the feeling I had when I used a shampoo bar. On the other hand, the ends of my hair that was bleached did not feel dry at all. Plus, my hair colour did not fade as much as when I use normal shampoo to wash it.

Since I do not wash my hair daily, I tried seeing how long can my oily scalp withstand the products before my scalp scream at me. Over the period of a month, I tried out various combination and concluded that 2 to 3 days it the maximum one's scalp could take when utilizing this hair care range. Due to the amount of essential oil jammed packed in the bottle, this range would suit people with dry scalp more than oily scalp.
Another technique that I picked up while reviewing this hair care range is to use a comb and separate the hair while conditioning. It helps to not only separate the hair but to make it more natural, smooth and soft after it dries.

However, I did not notice if my hair was reinstated or strengthen. With that said, I do like the product because of the chic packaging and how it is 100% natural. Nevertheless, I do feel that it's more suitable for people with dry scalp.
