I have very short nails for my job, so I think the polish would look better on longer nails! It's a multi faceted colour: it looks purpley-brown in the bottle but shine your nails in the light and it actually is quite green which I think is lovely. Also the glitter particles are really fine so it's not too over the top and can be worn in the day time. I must admit that I don't wear mascara very often - I have stupidly long eyelashes that don't stay curled even when i've used a curler, and mascara tends to smudge below my lower lash line. It's a black/brown colour, and has a thick consistency to touch but i'll have an experiment. A make up lady at Max Factor once suggested I put translucent powder underneath my eyes to stop make up sliding but I ended up looking like a racoon!
It would be good to do a post on tricks to help make up stay in place - anybody have any tips for this or have similar problems to myself?
