MASALA CHAI

A blustery autumn day is perfect for a walk, so I set off for St James’ Park to scrunch some leaves underfoot.

My route took me via Barnsbury Park, St Pancras and Charing Cross to the Mall; enjoying a pot of English breakfast tea at the ICA, Carlton Terrace.

The previous evening I had enjoyed a delicious pot of masala chai at Salaam Namaste in Bloomsbury with some lovely Indian food.

Thinking this would make a perfect warming post-walk cuppa, I took a detour via Neal’s yard on the way home for spices.

Recipe for Masala Chai to follow…
