First of all who are Arden & Amici?

Our company started life in 1991, founded by two guys who have a passion for food and travel. Having a strong desire to do something different and more importantly work for themselves, they left their respective jobs and started Arden Fine Foods, importing and distributing food from around Europe, with a focus on Italy.

Think of Tuscan food, and its often the rich soups, cheese, spicy sausage and fine wines that spring to mind. But Tuscany is also well known for its cakes and biscuits, with their distinctive sweet taste and heavenly aroma, these delights are becoming increasingly popular here in the UK. That's why we've developed this delicious Tuscan range of authentic Italian biscuits, baked to perfection and best served with friends! After all, life is for living and sharing with your loved ones.

As you can see from the picture taken Arden & Amici have a huge variety of products to choose from.

Going to kick off with some delicious Italian biscuits-

Almond Cantuccini 180g

Traditional Tuscan Cantuccini loaded with almonds.
Eat the Italian way by dipping into sweet dessert wine or
your cappuccino

Ingredients

Wheat Flour, Sugar, Almonds (21%), Eggs, Butter*, Egg Yolk, Milk*, Honey, Raising Agent: Ammonium Hydrogen Carbonate, Salt, Natural Flavourings, *From Cows Milk

What a fantastic a compliment when enjoying one of your favorite hot drinks, Mine has to be the mighty coffee. 

When you first look at them you do think of the word "dry" but that is not the case once you dunk one of your biscuits into your hot beverage.You soon get the taste from the armands coming through with a good crispy crunch.

Passes the dunk test with flying colours as you do find it still holds its shape even when dunked so no bites at the bottom of your cup. 

                                                   Soft Amaretti 150g

Italian Soft Amaretti biscuits made with almonds and apricot kernels. Delicious served with after dinner coffee. Why not try crumbling over your favorite dessert or using as a base for a scrummy trifle.
Ingredients
Sugar, Almonds (30%), Apricot Kernels (15%), Egg White, Preservative: Potassium Sorbate
They come individually wrapped so very good for keeping fresh,the only problem is if you're on a healthy eating regime as I am, that they do have a lot of calories in them.

With these I find they have a huge versatility to them as can be used in so many ways.




Savoury Foods-



What I truly love about these are when you have friends & family around you can tempt them with the delicious selection of nibbles. As I did with my own family treated them to a testing food evening.

Arden's mature cheddar & spring onion bites

Nothing in life is as glorious as a mighty hit of mature cheddar cheese married with a fresh snip of spring onion.

Arden's goats cheese & pepper bites100g

Deliciously tasty... Oven baked pastry nibbles. A little bite of what you fancy... Stupendous with soup. For munching with fruit. Divine at wine time. Chilling with a beer or just straight out of the box. We unearthed those bite-sized crunchy treats on our travels to Dutch bakery heaven....tantalise your taste buds with this lip-smacking fusion of creamy Goats cheese and a sprinkling of black pepper. A stroke of genius we thought and so we brought them home for you wonderful folk to devour.

Absolutely delicious with the goats cheese running through them with the kick of black pepper. 

Arden's swirls garlic & parsley 60g

Extraordinary tasty... Dare to be different... Divine at wine time. Chilling with a beer. Fun with friends. Heavenly warmed or just straight out of the box. We unearthed these bite-sized buttery treats on our travels to French bakery heaven.....deliciously delicate puff pastry swirls delicately married with garlic and parsley butter.

Wheat Flour, Butter (Milk), Emmental Cheese (Milk), Garlic Powder (3.4%), Rapeseed Oil, Salt, Yeast, Dried Parsley (0.7%), Black Pepper, Colour (Annatto)

The garlic & parsley was my dads favourite.

This had to be my favorite as loved the gooey center  of cream cheese & spring onion but not just that the added extra of a crispy outside,not seen anything like these before.Was a little shocked when saw that they may contain traces of fish !As I am a vegetarian I keep away from fish , did not expect this from a high end range.My son Alfie tucked into these so even young kids can enjoy.

We have had a fantastic time trying out lots of nice new items so you the viewer can get a closer look at some of the items we tested.
