If you are having trouble updating your iDevice to the new version known as iOS 5, you must know you are not alone. Many people, including myself, are getting different kinds of errors when getting to the part in which iTunes asks Apple for permission to perform the update.
What is happening is basically that since there is so many people trying to update and requesting Apple for permission to perform the update, Apple’s servers are getting clustered with so much traffic and therefore not able to accept each single request. What you can do, which I did, is simply keep on trying several times until you get access, or you can just relax and try again tomorrow. Whatever your choice is, good luck!
