Anja Rubik in Hedi Slimane’s YSL Spring 2013 Campaign

By Clarissa17 @ClarissaSeaton
Hedi Slimane had his hands full at Yves Saint Laurent, as the brand’s photographer and designer of its YSL spring 2013 clothing collection. What makes his photos more exciting is the fact that he made top fashion model Anja Rubik to wear his clothes. Like a true fashion princess, Rubik delivered her all and gave Slimane the best photos that he wanted. Everything is available at the new YSL.com. While the collection exudes vintage YSL, the pictures of Rubik were Slimane’s style. Old modern Images in black and whiteRubik was captured in ravishingly beautiful black and white shots. She was made to pose in rooms and structures that obviously showed elements in classic French architecture. Everything came out well as the setting’s old world feel was equally matched by the edgy and cool attitude of the model diva. Such a combination was certainly perfect to be able to come up with modern and eccentric images that are evidently Saint Laurent style.

Anja Rubik in Hedi Slimane’s YSL Spring 2013 CampaignAs part of YSL’s latest campaign for its accessories, these series of enchanting photos of Anja Rubik in Hedi Slimane’s collection was actually taken at the Yves Saint Laurent couture salons. All images are now available for viewing at the Facebook web pages of YSL and as well as Slimane’s fashion blog. Rubik was beautiful in Hedi Slimane collectionIndeed, everything happened so quickly as just a mere four days after fashion icon Hedi Slimane made his very first ready to wear couture collection available for presentation at the Paris runway, Anja Rubik was made to represent his collection and had them posted at the newly created official website of Yves Saint Laurent. While these pictures remain to be posted at YSL’s online pages, the French brand has not made an announcement on whether such photos will become its official campaign photos. This is because YSL has announced that its full-blown fashion campaign is yet to begin in December of 2012. But while the premier fashion company is yet to decide on whether to use the Anja Rubik’s photos officially for their advertising campaign or not, it is generous enough to let us savor the beauty of Rubik as she dons the sexy yet ethereal YSL spring 2013 collection of Hedi Slimane.Image Source: Fashionologie
