Android 4.4.1 Update Comes to Improve Nexus 5 Camera

Along with the release of Android 4.4.1 update, Google announced its priority will be better camera functionality on Nexus 5.

It is familiar that the latest smartphone from Google and LG has some problems with the current camera so this Android update aims to resolve them all, improving auto-focus, exposure, white balance, speed, and contrast. The company also shared some photos showing the difference between a normal mode and HDR + after the update.

Android 4.4.1 for Nexus 5 is scheduled for the upcoming days, and according to Google we can expect an even more satisfying experience in capturing photos. Dave Burke, the engineering director for Android at Google, has confirmed that the camera on Nexus 5 takes a little too long to take pictures, so they decided to improve the shutter in order to produce better photos. We can also expect more trigger speed while the camera app should  launch a second faster than before. New update also brings a progress indicator + HDR mode that will allow you to manage everything easier. See the differences for yourself in the video below:
