Andalou 1000 Roses Moroccan Beauty Oil

By Blessmybag @blessmybag

My late grandfather once said a couple of years ago that he wanted to give my maternal grandmother, 1000 roses...because she was the mother of his 9 children, and the love of his life. The nostalgia that came over my mother when I showed her my recent beauty find was priceless. Mom loves the scent of rose and I spotted this Andalou Naturals 1000 Roses Moroccan Beauty Oil while at Healthy Options yesterday. It is GMO-free, sulfate-free, vegan and cruelty-free plus contains some of my favorite ingredients like jojoba, rosehip, hyaluronic acid, cranberry, and rosa centifolia oil.

ANDALOU 1000 ROSES MOROCCAN BEAUTY OIL ANDALOU 1000 ROSES MOROCCAN BEAUTY OIL

Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower), Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba), Rosa Canina (Rosehip), Punica Granatum (Pomegranate), Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry), Camelina Sativa, Argania Spinsosa (Argan) and Hippophae Rhamnoides (Sea Buckthorn) Oils*, Fruit Stem Cells (Alpine Rose, Malus Domestica, Solar Vitis) and BioActive 8 Berry Complex*, Soothing Complex: [Hyaluronic Acid, Magnolia Officinalis Bark, Phoenix Dactylifera (Date) Leaf Cell and Boswellia Serrata (Boswellin) Extracts], Sorbitol, Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Aloe Barbadensis Extract, Camellia Sinensis (White Tea) and Aspalathus Linearis (Rooibos)*^, Citrus Tangerina (Tangerine) and Pelargonium Graveolens (Rose Geranium) Oils*, Rosa Centifolia (Rose) Oil

The scent is a lovely true rose scent since it contains both Rose Geranium and Rose Centifolia oil. I got this one for myself initially because my gift for Mom was different, but my brother has decided to treat her to this as well since it reminds her so much of my grandfather. The initial texture and effect on my hand and eventually on my face was like the Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate but for only Php750 (more than 3x less the price of the Kiehl's one). I immediately remembered my grandfather with warmth...and since my Pai facial oil was nearing its past suitable mark I picked this up. If you couldn't afford a huge bouquet of roses and your mom isn't quite into flowers and more into beauty products you may want to consider this as a last minute gift for her. Available at Healthy Options, the range has several other products like creams and toners as well as a starter set with 4-5 travel size products. This lovely video by Globe by the way, moved me to tears yesterday, indeed we all tend to overlook the constant concern our mothers have for us, let's cherish them always.
