Anastasia Beverly Hills is once again collaborating with popular beauty influencer Amrezy this time the two have come together to present us with a new highlighter. I received a PR package just a few days ago from Anastasia Beverly Hills granting me early access to the highlight, I’m sure many of you have already seen the packages on social media while ABH often sends out beautifully packaged gifts, there is never an info card! All I know is what I’ve seen on Instagram, which is that the Amrezy highlighter will release on Valentine’s Day 2.14.18. I don’t even know the price but knowing ABH pricing I would say It is safe to assume it will be around $25 - 30 dollars maybe, also unsure if it is a limited-edition release or not though as with most collabs it likely is limited edition.
I’m super excited about the release of this highlighter, for a while I have unconsciously sworn off the use of powder highlighters preferring creams and liquids but I honestly can’t wait to continue wearing this powder, I am even considering purchasing myself a backup.
The Amrezy highlighter from Anastasia Beverly Hills is a super reflective white gold, the formula is completely different to all the ABH highlights I’ve tried in their kits. Amrezy’s highlighter is smooth and lacks a strong base pigment making it versatile and suitable for wear on a variety of skin tones. There are no large noticeable glitter chunks in the powder either, rather micro fine glitters that reflect light and don’t create an unflattering texture on the skin. This powder is pressed glow, it makes the skin shine in the most beautiful of ways. It’s refined and super elegant on the skin.
Here I swatched Amrezy’s highlighter on my inner wrist, first lightly and blended out and second a traditional single swipe down. Depending on how much glow you like this highlighter can be worn lightly for a naturally luminous glow or more dramatically to be sure your glow is seen from outer space.
