A Quickie: A Visit to the Doctor

By Advsinwtloss @advsinwtloss
So I went to the Doctor tonight. I go to the same practice I have been going to since 2005. I hadn't been to the Doctor since at least July and I've of course lost a lot of weight since then. The chairs in the waiting room were actually comfortable. I fit into them quite nicely. Sitting on the table wasn't that horrible either. I used to hate that. They used the large blood pressure cuff instead of the XL! Also I didn't have to hold on to the little handle by the scale when they weighed me because my balance has gotten better since I've lost weight. I also didn't dread getting on the scale. I actually told the nurse "I look forward to being weighed now! I'm on Weight Watchers!". I didn't tell the Doctor that I am on Weight Watchers, he's not my normal Doc so we don't have a rapport and he doesn't know my history and since he's not my regular Doctor, why would he care? This was an emergency appointment so I couldn't see my regular Doctor. However, that's besides the point. Most importantly, last but not least, I now weigh 293! I'm 7lbs away from the 50/100 mark!
note: went to my weigh in a few days later to find out I weigh 294.4
When I went to the drug store to get my prescription, the drug store I always go to, the chair there was actually comfortable too unlike the other times I had sat in them. I haven't sat in one of those chairs in about a year.
Like I mentioned to my hubby, I can't imagine what it's going to be like once I lose all my weight. I kinda feel weird now with how my body feels, i.e. the way I walk, how my clothes fit, etc. It's gonna be strange when I lose it all, but it will be all worth it!
