A Few Days in Dorset

By Thefoodiecoupleblog

Last month in the half term holiday we headed off down to Dorset for a few days – our first proper little holiday as a family of three. It was also the first time we had delved into the world of Air BnB and were staying in a little self contained annexe between Weymouth and Dorchester. It was absolutely gorgeous and everything we needed.

We spent the days exploring the coastline – from Christchurch and Mudeford one end up to Lyme Regis at the other.

There were a lot of beach visits, sitting on harbor walls and generally drinking in beach life on the south coast. And of course we ate a lot of fish and chips

We visited the stunning Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove

And Swanage with its crystal clear water

The Jurassic Coast was simply stunning

And Imogen really got into beach life too!

We ate some good food as well – so much fresh seafood! Stay tuned on the blog for reviews of Rick Steins Sandbanks Restaurant, Westbeach in Bournemouth and The Crab House Cafe in Wyke Regis over the coming weeks.

These are just a few of my favorite snaps from the holiday but I also vlogged the whole thing – so take a look below to find out what we did and where we went in a bit more detail.

I’d love to hear your thoughts!
