Hey There,
Day 11 on the Bigblogmasproject is all about Winter essentials, I thought it would be more fun to turn this into a tag, but as there’s probably a lot of Winter ones I’ve made it a little more festive.
A Festive Winter Tag:
Do you have any family traditions?
Our tradition when we were younger was to go up north to see the family, go carol singing Christmas eve, and to Church on Christmas morning. The boys in the family would often go to Old Trafford on Boxing day to watch Man United. But now we are all older, and spread about a bit more it’s harder to get everyone in one place. And I don’t even think anyone carol sings anymore?
What are your top 3 skincare winter wonders?
Lush Massage Bars, Origins Overnight Drink Up mask and Elemis Skin Bliss Capsules.
What is your standard Christmas outfit? Is is Christmas jumpers, PJ’s, or sparkles and dresses?
If it was up to me I would be in my PJ’s all day, but as I often have to go out in public and see other people I tend to have to put a bit more effort in. Maybe a bit of sparkle, but not a dress.
What are your plans on Christmas day this year?
My sister is hosting Christmas this year, for the first time ever. We will go over Christmas morning, hopefully open presents straight away, then eat and drink. My mums having boxing day at our house, so I get two Christmas dinners.
What part of your Christmas dinner do you look forward to most? Are you a fan of the Christmas pudding?
I hate Christmas pudding, I’m going to try make a desert this year, (Not sure it will be any better). Pigs in blankets are a favorite of mine, and of course the roastys and all the chocolate I can fit in between.
What are your top 3 Christmas films to watch?
Home Alone has to be with out a doubt the BEST Christmas film ever made. Second is between Love Actually and Bridget Jones, and the third would have to be Elf.
Do you have a favorite Christmas song?
No I’m not a massive fan of any of them, some are OK. We have them on repeat in work at the moment, which doesn’t help.
What are the top 3 items on your list to Santa?
A watch, leather trousers and tickets to see Alan Carr.
What is your favorite thing about Christmas?
It used to be all about presents, and I hated family time. Now it is a little bit about presents, ALL about the family time, and of course all the food and drink.
Have you already got your decorations up?
If it was up to me they would of been up on December 1st and I would now be living in something that resembles Santa’s Grotto, but as I live with my mom and she is a Scrooge it has only gone up this week, and only because I have been nagging. She wouldn’t have a tree up at all if it wasn’t for me.
