A Cause to Get Behind….and Some Great Beauty Products!

By Clo Hutch @lashesoflife

Ok so I do love a good cause to get behind… but who doesn’t?

These following figures show just how much we do support charities and causes, which I think is fab!

For Children in Need 2014, we as a country raised £32,620,469 which will help transform the lives of disadvantaged children and young people here in the UK.

Everyone who joined in with Sport Relief in 2014, whether they sponsored, ran, swam or just donated, raised £71.8 million! This is going to transforming lives both at home in the UK and across the world.

Red Nose Day is at the end of this week too – which I’m sure you will all know about with the “Make Your Face Funny for Money” campaign. I’m currently considering my options for this…

But it’s not just the big televised ones we’re into. Every year thousands of people run the Cancer Research Race For Life with over 300 events across the UK, all raising money for a great cause.

Cancer is a topic close to home for many, and I will always support those charities fundraising to make lives better.

I know donating to charity should be a selfless act, something to raise money and awareness for others and for me it normally is! But when you need to buy something new for yourself and find out part or all of the money is going to charity, to me it’s more of an incentive to buy even if it is indulging myself too.

From now until 31st March 2015 Amazing Aloe Vera are giving all profits to Macmillan cancer support – so you can buy beauty products AND still be helping Macmillan!

Amazing Aloe Vera say they are the only company that can keep aloe vera completely fresh and in it’s natural active state. Their products are primarily pure inner leaf gel which is organically grown and harvested by hand.

They have a huge range of products from beauty & wellness (including hand & face soap, massage lotion and shampoo) to Life Balance (Including herbal teas, and supplements).

Here are just a few:

Amazing Aloe Vera + MacMillan

The products felt really fresh and smelt natural with a slight hint – no strong floral scents like some of the products I would normally use.

My favourites were the Aloe Nourishing Serum which left my skin silky soft and the Aloe Hand and Face Soap – I’ve been trying not to use face wipes at night to remove make-up as I know this isn’t the best thing for my skin so this really helped, it’s also really great for using to shave your legs – Love a multi-tasking product!

It was nice to use more of a natural product, it made me feel better inside, and I’ll definitely be considering this from now on.

If you need a new skin care/wellness/beauty haul why not take a look at their range and do your bit for charity at the same time. I know I will be.

Chloe xx

*I did get to try out some of the products for this post, but was not paid. This is completely my own view.
