Something that no one else knows about me

This is easily the toughest question to answer. I guess I’ll go with my history with Quentin Tarantino. The first time I rented Pulp Fiction, I was so anxious from the adrenalin shot scene and horrified from the gimp scene that I fast-forwarded through most of the movie and couldn’t understand what the fuss was about. I’ve of course of seen the film countless times now and even did a report on it in College.

I also saw Kill Bill volume 1 in the theater opening night by myself. Don’t ask how I couldn’t get anyone else to go to this incredible film. I was simply blown away from it. I haven’t bought Kill Bill in any format yet because I’m still waiting for the Whole Bloody Affair to someday come to Blu-Ray.

Most Beautiful Piece

There was a meme going around sometime last year where bloggers were posting their 12 most iconic movie images. Check out the images I selected.

Most Helpful Piece

I took a look at some solutions to help users find content on Netflix and other streaming sites. Check out my post on Netflix Streaming Solutions.

Most Popular Piece

With over 3,700 views, My top 10 Studio Ghibli post is the most viewed piece on the site. I’m really happy that it got the attention it deserved and continues to get attention on a daily basis.

Most Controversial Piece

I don’t really have a lot of controversial pieces. I guess the one that comes to mind for me personally is when I tried to talked about a Twilight movie. I’ve never had any interest in the franchise and I wrote the article just to grab views. I’ve made a vow to not try that again. Here I talked about Breaking Dawn maybe receiving an R Rating.

Most Surprisingly Successful Piece

anotherearth_still1

I get most excited when my reviews get received well, so imagine my excitement when my review for Another Earth has gotten more views than any other review on the site. I got to see the movie really early due to a IFF Boston showing and I guess it attracted a lot of attention.

Most Underrated Piece

My review for Warrior has only gotten 18 views as of this moment. After writing it up and giving it the write up it deserved it feels kind of sad. For this reason I’ve gone back and updated it with the new theme options and I hope that you check out one the better films of last year.

Most Pride-Worthy Piece

Since my Ghibli post has already gotten attention my next Pride-Worthy piece would be my Top 10 Science-Fiction films. It was quite an undertaking and originally it was spread out when I started the website. Now it is combined in an easy to read top 10. Check it out.
