In the past, I have mentioned on the blog that I do a lot of my shopping online and that includes shopping for my 2 year old. As is, It is difficult to make her sit for a few minutes, I can't even imagine her trying on clothes just yet. In today's post, I will talk about 5 stores that I regularly shop at for my 2 year old. Since toddlers tend to grow out of their clothes pretty quickly, these budget stores give you options to shop comfortable trendy clothing at an affordable price.
1. H&M Kids
H&M launched their kids collection two years back and it only keeps getting better. They have cute, trendy clothing and accessories for kids at a price that allows you to keep on adding clothing on a regular basis. Keep an eye out for their seasonal deals where you can grab tees, sweatshirts or dresses for as low as $5 at times.
My daughter is above average in both height and weight. H&M's size 1.5-2 years works well for her. I did try to size up the clothing once by buying a 2-4 year old size top but I ended up returning it since It would have worked well for a 3-4 year old. H&M does have an elaborate sizing guide that you can use to your advantage before ordering.

Target came under fire for gender labeling in the last few months. However, there is no denying the fact that they have affordable clothing for kids and I find their collection to be the most versatile and colorful. One of the brands they carry called Cherokee has kid appropriate clothing in beautiful patterns and prints. Target's sizing is right on point so if you don't want your kid to outgrow the clothing in a month or two, you can safely size up.
3. Crazy 8
Crazy 8 is known exclusively for being a children's apparel chain and they carry the latest fashion for children and seasonal shoes and accessories. On their website you can find a section dedicated to outfits so if you are looking to buy an outfit for a special occasion, that is a great place to get ideas. Their sizing, like Target is on point and you can safely size up without the fear of oversizing. Their outerwear and accessories are something to look out for.
4. Uniqlo
Uniqlo does not have many options for kids clothing but they have the basic gear and some statement pieces that can be an addition to your toddler's wardrobe without having to overrun the budget. They have an extensive sizing chart on their website for online ordering and the returns are very easy and can be sent back with the returns form that comes in the mail with your order.
5. Nordstrom Rack
If you are looking for one of a kind pieces at affordable prices, Nordstrom Rack is the store to check out. You can buy clothing from Kate Spade's kids collection to Ralph Lauren's children's clothing all at a discounted price. Their sizing varies based on the brand so make sure to specifically check out the brand's sizing chart by googling it before you zero in on the right size.
