5 Best Food Trucks In & Around LA | By The Editor

By Heather Hahn @HeatherHahnn

When I first moved to Los Angeles, from Ohio, I had absolutely no idea what a food truck was.

Ohio has farms, vegetable gardens, and fruit trees, the last thing on their list I feel like, is a food truck.

I remember first hearing about food trucks during my “Intro To Fashion” freshmen year of college class, from one of my best friends, and the first thing that came to my mind was, “Food made in a truck?! That’s really disgusting“.

Little did I know that as popular as food trucks were my first year of college in San Francisco, when I shortly after moved down to LA, they were even more popular, and basically all over the city streets.

About a few months ago, I actually JUST caved into the “food truck craze” at ‘Warped Tour’, over the summer, and i’m not going to lie, I was actually scared to try any food truck for the longest time, because I totally thought it was un-sanitary. Wimp, I know.

What is the first food truck I tried?

The Grilled Cheese Truck ! ! !

{ Yes, I am a huge, huge fan of grilled cheese anything! SH! }

So below, I decided to list for you guys five of my favorite food trucks that i’ve tried in the last couple months, in & around Los Angeles.

If you are ever visiting around the L.A area, I highly suggest trying these first five out, as a starter, if you’re a little off your feet, like I was.
