Hey There,

Well I must say I have missed you all, but it has been so lovely, (And most definitely needed), baking myself in the gorgeous Greek sun, and relaxing poolside for a week with the boyfriend, (With barely any social media contact). It has only been two days but I’m already panicking that my tan has gone, (Lets face it life is better with a tan).

So today marks independence day for the United States of America. I for one have been seeing 4th July celebrations all over Twitter and Instagram, almost all in the form of scrummy baked goods. I watched ITV’s This Morning where they made a cherry pie, (Is this not the perfect 4th of July treat? I instantly think of America). It looked absolutely delicious and I now have a cherry pie craving, which needs to be fixed pretty sharpish, (Any bakers out there please send some cherry pie my way).

I decided to get involved with all the independence day celebrations by getting creative with some nail art, inspired by the American flag, (Obviously). I used my OPI liquid sands ‘Wharf Wharf Wharf’ as the base colour, decorating with my red and white nail art brushes. It appears I need to work on my star drawing skills.

What are you doing to celebrate the 4th July? What do you think of Independence day/Captain America nails?

Happy Friday to you all, have a lovely weekend.

Lots of love,
KBxx
