Hey There,

And a Happy Wednesday to you all.

I have been looking forward to writing this post on eyebrows, as quite honestly, over the past few years, I have developed a love for ‘arched’ eyebrows, (However ridiculous that may sound), but I have a feeling I am not alone, with almost everyone opting for the ‘arched’ look. I think my eyebrow obsession started as a teenager, when I was allowed to be let loose with tweezers, and plucked my eyebrows so obsessively, that I had none, (It was awful).

In my defence it was definitely the ‘in’ thing to do, pluck them until they no longer existed.

BUT oh how the times have changed, and I now long for, big, bushy, Cara Delevingne brows. And I am on a mission to get them.

Luckily for me, after my traumatic experience with tweezers as a teenager, (The word teenager makes me feel very old), my eyebrows ACTUALLY grew back, (It was a miracle, I kid you not), if you knew me at school, you would understand, (And no, I will not share a picture – they were that bad).

I think training as a beauty therapist, ‘saved my brows’. Having to grow them back, to be waxed and shaped by a fellow student, allowed me to see life with eyebrows, and it was a lot better than life with none.

Now I shape my eyebrows to my face, and to do this, I use a 3 step guide, to create that ‘arch’.

Step 1 – The start of the brow should be in line with your nose, (Straight down).

Step 2 – The arch should be in line with your iris.

Step 3 – And the end of your brow should be in line with your nose, (Diagonally).

I must admit my eyebrows don’t match up completely, but they are close.

I am using this technique and trying to grow my brows thicker, eventually I will have more of the Delevingne brow look.

Here is a post from the Beautybykaris archives, another brow related post, but focused on enhancing and defining the brows, Brows and Makeup.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF MY ‘ARCHED’ BROWS?

DO YOU THINK ARCHED BROWS ARE THE BEST BROWS?

HOW DO YOUR BROWS MATCH UP TO THE 3 STEP GUIDE?

Lots of Love,
