Since 2014 is coming to a close pretty soon, we thought the best way to celebrate the holiday season by looking back to the best celebrity weddings of this year. There sure were a lot of famous names who tied the knot this year and while it is hard to choose, we narrowed the list to the 3 standout weddings that we'll never forget.
3. Olivia Palermo & Johannes Huebl
Fashionista Olivia Palermo wed long-time beau Johannes Huebl in a super chic summer wedding last July. What we love most about this wedding is the bride's simple but undeniably stylish Carolina Herrera ensemble consisting of a cashmere sweater, white tailored shorts and a full tulle satin and silk skirt with gorgeous floral details. Palermo finished with a pair of cobalt blue Manolo Blahnik heels à la Carrie Bradshaw.
2. Kim Kardashian & Kanye West
The world was abuzz when the queen of reality TV tied the knot with rapper Kanye West. This might be Kim's third wedding but it is definitely the grandest of all. The Kardashian klan flew from a pre-bash party in Paris to Florence, Italy for the ceremony. Kim wore a custom-made Givenchy gown (that's reportedly worth up to $500,000) while the lavish couple was serenaded by Andrea Bocelli, Lana Del Rey and John Legend. The total cost of the wedding - a whopping $12 million!
1. Brangelina
Who else can pull off a doodle-filled wedding dress but Angelina, right? Power couple Brangelina finally tied the knot in August at a private family estate in France, where they were joined by only 20 guests. The gorgeous bride wore a very unique Atelier Versace dress which was handcrafted with doodle designs from their kids. The whole affair was small but very intimate and heartfelt. Definitely tops the list of best weddings of 2014!
