Hey There,

Yes I am talking about Bourjois Paris’s CC cream, you know the one that all the beauty bloggers were going crazy about when it launched, the one which took up most of my twitter feed, with bloggers umming and arring whether to buy… Well of course if a product is being talked about that much, I had to get my hands on it and see what the fuss was about, (And I liked it from the word go)…

It is a make up ‘base’ product which claims to ‘perfect’ the skin in a multiple of ways. With 3 pigment color corrections – apricot for anti-fatigue, green for anti-redness and white for anti-dark spots. And as well as all this, it also promises 24 hour hydration, and protection with SPF15, all for £9.99, (What an absolute bargain).

So what is a CC cream you ask? With foundations, tinted moisturisers, and BB creams on the market, a CC cream is just another alternative. I am assuming the CC stands for color correcting, color control, but they all have the same basic principles, and that is to give your skin that flawless, even toned finish. Now you know I love a foundation, but I have never been one to wear it on a daily basis, so for me the likes of BB, CC, and tinted creams are a lighter alternative for my day to day make up looks. Of course this Bourjois cream is the first I have tried out of the CC cream on the market, none the less I absolutely love it. At the moment I don’t even have to use concealer on top, or underneath the CC cream, it literally gives me the ‘ideal’ coverage. I don’t look caked, I don’t get dark lines or creasing, just a luminous and smooth complexion, (What more could I want?).

Having quite sensitive skin, I do worry about trying new products out. The Bourjois CC cream doesn’t feel heavy on my skin, or like it is clogging up my pores, it doesn’t dry out my skin, so overall I am pretty impressed by it. I have recommended it to friends and I would most definitely make a repurchase of it.

Have you tried Bourjois CC cream yet? What base product do you use?

Lots of Love,

KBxx
