When I saw these Zaca Recovery Chewable available for review, I thought they were for recovery following long runs or something. It never occurred to me for a second that they meant recovery from drinking or from being tired or anything other than recovering from athletic activities. That being said, I was provided with this product for a product review so I gave it a shot.
Zaca Recovery Chewable has a refreshing berry flavor, and is made from pure ingredients. They are easy to use and you can take them “on the go” since no water is needed. They do seem to help in post-workout recovery, but don’t be expecting some miracle supplement. I usually drink a beverage that contains electrolytes to rehydrate after a workout. When I read the description for this product, I thought they might have that same effect, but unfortunately, just not quite as refreshed. I do feel that they improve your energy after a workout if you eat a few of them and if you drink some water while chewing, the flavor seems to come more “alive”, plus I’m thinking it might help absorb the nutrients contained in the chew.
