YSL Lipsticks and St. Tropez Instant Glow
Hi all!  Hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend!  I just got back this morning from spending the weekend at my parents house and decided to put up a blog post of some Easter gifts I got over the weekend!
First up are my two new YSL lipsticks!  I'm so excited about these because I think YSL has the most beautiful packaging and the quality of the lipstick is just amazing.
Rouge Volupte Silky-Sensual Radiant Lipstick #7 Lingerie Pink
This line of lipsticks is encased in the gold packaging and the color I got, Lingerie Pink, is a gorgeous light rosy-pink shade.  Lingerie Pink is a kind of a cool toned warm pink-- and yes I know how ridiculous that sounds but go with me here--  I love love love this lipstick!  It's beautiful for day time and would also compliment a smokey eye really well.  It's a great shade to buy if you want to get a color that you can wear with any look.  The consistency of this lipstick is so luxurious feeling; it's soft and silky and when you apply it it practically melts on to your lips and leaves the feeling of a silky balm unlike any lipstick I've ever tried.  It's long lasting and has a beautiful matte (but not too matte) finish to it after it sets into the lips.
Note: These swatches are slightly darker in person but my camera just didn't want to pick up the colors, sorry!

Volupte Sheer Candy Glossy Balm Crystal Color #4 Succulent Pomegrante
I love the Sheer Candy line of lipsticks from YSL- I have one I got last year which was #6 Luscious Cherry which is a sheer bright red shade.  I also had Dewy Papaya but it was basically clear on the lips so I gave it to my mom who loves to wear it over lipstick as a glossy top coat. I love the silver packaging of these and I love how glossy they look on the lips while feeling like a balm.  This color is a little more wearable than Luscious Cherry because it's more pink toned.  It's a beautiful sheer rosy pink shade that is just so gorgeous and looks really lovely on the lips--it gives a deepened pink color to my lips while still adding a bit of a brighter color (I know how contradicting that sounds but it's the only way I can think to describe it!) and is just so pretty on!  It has a really nice glossy finish to it and it's one that I know I'll be reaching for all summer.

St. Tropez  Instant Glow Body Lotion
I picked this up while I was in Sephora because I thought it would be a great for summer nights when I want to add some more color to my skin.  It only lasts until you wash it off but you get a good tan instantly (depending on how much you apply if you want a little or a lot of color) and you don't need much.  I love the St. Tropez Bronzing Mousse so I had a feeling I would like this as well.  I wore this out for my friend's 21st birthday and it looked great- it gave me a really even, natural color.  I apply this with gloves on and I've found that after applying this my skin feels really soft like I've put on an extra layer of moisturizer.  Also, it doesn't have any kind of strong fake tan smell to it--it has a nice light scent  but once applied isn't even noticeable.  All in all I think this is a great product to have for an instant tan and what's even better is the price--only $18!  I think it's a great price for a product from a higher end line of tanning products and this is something I will definitely be repurchasing.
Hope you all  enjoyed this post and are having a great Monday!:)
