What's the number one question I get as a vegan? (Other than "Why?") It's "So how do you get enough protein?" Raise your hand if you know what I'm saying! Ugh...ok...whatever. I was an educator for years and apparently I still am...just of a different nature.
Vegans get protein! Nuts, lentils, seeds, tofu, TVP (textured vegetable protein) ~ even avocado has protein. We get it. And now I found a new way to enjoy one of my favorite of those protein sources - chickpeas! These seal salted roasted bites from the GOOD bean are awesome!
There are 2 servings per bag, with 140 calories and only 2 grams of fat per serving.
They have 6 grams of dietary fiber (who doesn't love that?) and, drumroll please...each serving has 7 grams of protein!
As their package says "It's ALL good!...1000% Goodness! 0% Badness! Finally, the perfect healthy snack!"
Go check them out today ~ I've got to go get some more since I finished mine yesterday.
