Yesterday Chimney Rock Park hosted a gaggle of writers. We were set up under tents at the foot of the rock where an enthusiastic group listened to us read from and/or talk about our books.
Here, Robert Morgan, whose beautiful novel Gap Creek was an Oprah Book Club pick, entertains the crowd.

A fine day and I was delighted to encounter a few FaceBook friend (hey Bud and Jen) as well as a friend of a FaceBook friend and a fellow graduate of H.B. Plant High School in Tampa.
