Working Overtime. All the Time.

By Jr
Double post today!  'tis a chilly start to the weekend, so I thought I'd heat things up a bit for anyone going out, or indeed staying in (I'll be on the couch with hot cocoa and a movie tonight...any suggestions?!)
I've seen Le Galaxie live, no less than 5 times this year (including Forbidden Fruit and Indiependence festivals), so I guess that means, without meaning to, I'm actually stalking them.  Since I usually post about bands I stalk, and since I've been threatening to make Friday's official music day on my blog, I think a few tunes from Le Boys wouldn't be out of place.
I dare you to listen to this whole track without shouting "WOOO!"

Amazeballs tune, featuring the tiny, yet mega, Elaine Mai.
The lads have been busy this year releasing their EP, Fade 2 Forever, and playing more gigs than I can keep up with.  Wednesday night might have been my fifth or sixth time displaying my dance moves in front of these chaps, as they played The Workman's Club for The Meteor Live Sessions, in collaboration with the Paul McCloone Show on Today FM.  The supporting acts weren't really my cup of hot beverage, so Le Galaxie really kicked the bejayzis out of me when they burst onto the stage to play a very brief set.  I needed a good sit down after that blood inducing, synthy, guitar frenzy.
Working overtime. All the time.
