halloween ecard
I la la la la LOVE Halloween! I like to think I am a pretty festive person, so when the holiday season rolls around, I am totally in my element. I have already made pumpkin curry soup, GF butternut squash cheesecake (recipe coming soon), all types of pumpkin-y beverages, bought various cute decorations, hung up a cinnamon broom… the list goes on. My house is pretty Fall-ified, and right now pretty spook-ified as well.

Friday night a few friends came to our house to carve pumpkins, make pumpkin seeds, and watch some classic Halloween movies. The perfect Fall night! Not to mention it was great that we were all well rested for Saturday night… as that’s when things got a littttle bit crazy. Don’t worry… you will hear all about that soon annnnd you will get to see the final result of how my costume turned out.

ice cubes with worms

+ Easiest and cutest little Halloween surprise- gummy worms in an ice cube tray. Everyone got a real kick out of it
:)

pumpkin carving party

+ The pumpkin round up… which one do you think is mine??? Hint…. I love the Nightmare Before Xmas.

halloween party decor

+ I don’t know why, but I am obsessed with these little bat stirrers that my roommate got for the house.

suja juice

+ Last, but not least, chances are after you Halloween shindig that you may suffer from a bit of an hangover. I surprisingly didn’t and here is why:

  • Drink lots of coconut water before bed if you can remember. If not, chug it right when you wake up
  • Aloe juice is also very hydrating.
  • Take a nap and  don’t skip your vitamins.
  • Drink juice!! I love the Suja juices and the strawberry with cayenne packs a real punch that will make you instantly feel like a new person. If you have a juicer, and aren’t too incapacitated by a headache, you can also make your own. Either way… this will really be your saving grace.
