I've finally just got my autumn/winter wardrobe sussed and then 'bam' a change of season. If your anything like me Im not one to buy a bulk of clothes in one shop, I tend to buy pieces now and again and it's usually only something I really like. As I have gotten older I am more cautious of what I spend my money on, so I have gotten into the habit of, if I am unsure about an item 9x out of 10 I will not purchase. So speaking on my summer wardrobe above are a few pieces I would really wish to have hanging in my 'drobe'.
The first item is this amazing shirt from Monki, I have been after a thin striped shirt for sometime but I didn't want to settle with anything as I know they will probably fade out of fashion. I have opted for something a little more contemporary to stay with the times and still have a little class to go with it for that timeless factor. I would probably wear this over denim shorts with the sleeves rolled up and my chelsea boots, or plain black strapped sandals.
Seeing as it is summer it would be silly not to have a bikini on my wish list. Neoprene has been a big hit for swimwear and the like this season and the sports luxe trend involves into this beautifully. This item is a little out of my price league, but after all this is a wish list - hopefully I can find something similar elsewhere. Monochrome keeps this set chic and I'm loving the slogan on the front of the bra.. definitely a winner!!
Accessories a must for me, I don't think I could leave the house without at least a necklace on. I have been after a new watch for a while my white Gio Goi watch has seen its day. I love the simplicity of the Mavado black watch the gold detailing really sets out to me plus I have this thing for moons at the moment and the little gold dot resembles that to me. This watch sums me up as a person haha! Moving onto shades, these are an addiction of mine - come rain snow or sun I will always be guaranteed to have some in my bag. The obsession has gotten that bad that I have them hanging all of a coat hanger at the back of my bedroom door. Although I do not own a pair of transparent frames, these are needed for the collection.
Denim pyjama shorts from rag and bone, they couldn't sound more ideal for the summer. I seem to always leave out shorts when shopping, so a perfect pair needed to be included on this wish list. If not a denim pair like these above then I am on the hunt for a faux leather pair in the same sort of style. Perhaps even both why not?!
