I seem to have an obsession with cleansers at the moment so I thought I would share with you 5 cleansers that are on top of my wish list to try.
First up and probably the next one I will try is the Sarah Chapman Skinesis Rapid Radiance Cleanser. (£29 Space NK) This is a light cream cleanser that helps to give your skin radiance and make your skin look clearer and brighter. It has vitamin C, lactic and salicylic acid in it which are all ingredients that react well with my skin to make it clearer. The cleanser can also be used as a two minute mask to give your skin a boost. I am finding it hard to not just buy this now! I love everything from Sarah Chapman and I have a feeling I will adore this too.
I love oil cleansers to remove my make up and the Melvita Milky Cleansing Oil (£18 Feel Unique) sounds like something that would get the job done well without irritating the skin. This goes on as an oil but once you add water it turns into more of a lotion which makes it easy to remove without leaving residue. Perfect for us with combination, oily skin.
If Caroline Hirons talks about something my ears immediately prick up and I have seen The Body Shop Nutriganics Softening Cleansing Gel (£10 The Body Shop) pop on her instagram a few times recently which instantly makes me want to try it. I have a feeling I used a sample of this when I used to work for the Body Shop but I don't think I appreciated cleansers back then like I do now. This is a oil, gel cleanser that's great for removing make up.
Another more expensive and unusual cleanser that is on my wish list is the Ole Henriksen Pure Truth Melting Cleanser. (£24 Selfridges) This is a cleansing gelee that once applied to dry skin turns into an oil that you can massage onto the skin to remove even waterproof make up. Like the Melvita Cleanser this then emulsifies into a lotion making it easy to remove. It has vitamin c and rosehip in it to help brighten and nourish the skin.
Lastly is the infamous Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm (£22 Boots) which has been talked about by so many bloggers. I can't actually believe I haven't given into the hype yet and bought this but I am sure I will soon.Take The Day Off is a solid balm that turns into an oil when warmed up and massaged onto the skin. It is fragrance free so great for all skin types and is also perfect for removing make up gently, even stubborn mascara.
I would love to know if you have tried any of these cleansers? I want them even more now I have talked about them but I am trying to be good and only buy a new one when the one I'm using is running out.
What is your favorite cleanser?
