❄ Winter Warmers: Winter Makeup Wishlist ❄

By Ribbonsandbowsox @rebecc4dennison
Winter is by far my favorite time of year, and this is partially because of the the make-up trend of dark warm colours. I always look forward to getting the burgundy nail varnishes out at this time of year, and dark lipsticks look beautiful at this time of year as well!
Here's the wishlist...
❄ Winter Warmers: Winter Makeup Wishlist ❄
As you can see, the love of dark colours is apparent. However I have added a highlight and a lip balm.
- I've seen loads of bloggers and youtubers use M.A.C Rebel lipstick, and I've wanted it for aaaaaages! It just looks so pretty!
- The blush is also something I've heard about, not as much as shades like 'Rose gold', but I think that shade at winter will add a lovely slight rosey pink to your cheeks and it won't be too pink and overpowering.
- The nail polish is one of the relatively new matte nail polish from Topshop. The color is a deep purple color which I think is perfect for this time of year. I take the most care with my nails around this time of year because I prefer the deep colours instead of the bright colours you would wear in summer. I also think this color would look beautiful with a gold gilitter topcoat over the top.
- I also think highlighter is great for winter as the dull weather can often make your face look grey-ish and dark. Adding a highlighter instantly brightens up your face when the light hits it and makes you look a bit more awake and fresh.
- The lip balm is something I've heard quite a bit about. I've wanted to try Figs & Rouge for ages now, and I've still never got round to buying it. The coco vanilla scent/flavour will remind me of Christmas so much!
- The lipliner is to pair with the M.A.C lipstick. The two colours just go amazingly well together and I love it so much!
There's my wishlist! I hope you enjoyed this post and I promise I won't wait almost a month to write another one.
