Ever since I my visit to the House Beautiful's Kitchen of the year I have been thinking about countertops!I loved the Caesar Stone and the hammered metal counters, but the sources for counters are abundant! There are so many choices these days for counters, it could make a home owners head spin. I do believe besides the aesthetic beauty that counters add to a space, one must consider how they will be used and if one is okay with maintenance! I personally don't mind maintenance or a bit a staining, so I have to say that marble and limestone tend to be my favorite choices for counters. However, not everyone is okay with staining and in that case there are other options for those home owners. Even granite has come a long way these days and some are much more subdued with veining rather than those awful speckles. I could have kept adding to my list of counter possibilities but I would be here all day! So here are some options that I have come up with in the world of countertops. What is your favorite kitchen counter top? Let me know!
