I am not exactly a typical anti-racist. I do not expect a whole lot from Black people – I expect about nothing from them honestly. No revelations or figures about Black pathology can surprise me anymore. I have heard it all and I know this race well and what they are capable of as I learned about them pretty early on as a school teacher.
On the other hand, I do continue to oppose all true White racism against Blacks because I believe that Blacks deserve full legal equality with Whites. I am not impressed with White who dislike Blacks so much that they are hostile or uninterested in being friendly to any Black person. The fact remains that there are millions of Blacks who are as healthy, functional, noble and moral as you, me or anyone else. To throw them in with the rest of the lot seems so wrong to me. I do not know how you can justify it as a rational human being.
The argument that the pathologies of Blacks (which is mostly what people dislike about them) are irrelevant because Whites and all other races have the same pathologies is never going to fly. Humans are too smart to fall for that argument. The way I see it is not that Blacks act bad but more that way too many Black people act way too bad and bring it down on all the rest of them. Sort of like with the Jews.
For instance, I lived in a White working class town for a while and there was a certain level of pathologies, particularly among the young. However the pathologies tended to be penny ante stuff compared to what you see in a big Black city. And they were occurring at a much lower level. For instance, I moved to a majority Hispanic city with a small population of Blacks who are pretty ghetto.
Pretty quickly I caught on. All of the races act bad, particularly the young. But it seemed that there were 3X as many young Hispanics acting bad as young Whites and the young Hispanics seemed to act 3X worse than the young Whites. The Blacks seemed to act worse than both groups. The young Blacks seemed to be ~8X more likely to be pathological and when they were, it seemed that their pathologies seemed 8X worse. Of course these are all off the cuff figures but crime surveys back them up pretty well and if you compare a White city with an Hispanic city with a Black city and think about it, you might agree with my conclusion.
Since I am cynical about Blacks and think a lot of stuff the racists say about them is actually true, why don’t I write about Blacks?
- The topic is dead. Everyone and their brother writes about Black people acting bad.
- Seems like bullying. Whether or not Blacks deserve it, they do remind you of the people at school who everyone beat up on all the time. For some reason I feel sorry for them and feel like they are bullied. Why should I join in the blanket party. Forget it. It’s sordid.
- Makes me seem like a jerk. Or a racist. Or whatever. As a liberal, I do not enjoy being called these names. What is the point of complaining about Blacks if it is just going to make me look like an ugly person who no one likes? Why bother?
- No solution. I hate to say it, but I see few to no solutions to the problems of Blacks in society, and yes they are considerable and no amount of antiracist and liberal hand-wringing and explaining away elides that. If you can’t fix a problem, why talk about it. Problems should only be discussed if there are potential solutions, otherwise you are just being a Gloomy Gus gloom and doom type; a negative person who no one wants to be around . Further, talking about solution-less problems makes no sense if there is nothing we can do about it. What’s the point?
- Maybe they can’t help it. You look at Blacks in the ghettos of the West. Then you look at the Caribbean. Then you look at Africa. I did this for a long time when it finally dawned on me. They’re the same everywhere! Of course it is not really true, but you would have to be Helen Keller not to figure that out. The Black race tends to show some commonalities across geography and probably secularly also. No more where they live, this race tends to have similar good points and bad points about them. Call it what you will. Maybe it is a “racial style.” God knows what causes it but when you see commonalities with a group at all longitudes and latitidues, you start wondering what exactly culture has to do with it. If they can’t help it, then why are we bashing them. Isn’t it immoral to pick on someone for something they can’t help. It is like screaming at a gimp for being on crutches and then grabbing his crutches and smashing them into bits. He can’t help that he’s on crutches. People who pick on people for things they can’t are cruel.
- It’s mean. Not only is it pointless and cruel, but it’s mean. And it hurts Black people’s feelings. Now for a lot of Blacks who act bad, I could care less how it makes them feel. But if I bash Blacks, a lot of good Blacks are going to feel hurt and angry. I just made a good person feel for a pointless, cruel and mean reason. Why did I do that?
- Take the high road. I will get pummeled for saying it, but I really do think we Whites are better. Now White Supremacists say the same thing, but then they act like Nazis, skinheads, lynch mobs and men with hoods in the night.
- Ok let’s now get this straight. You say that your race is inherently more moral than this evil Black race, and you show that by…acting like the most evil White people of all. Get it? Makes no sense. You are complaining about niggers and then you get so riled about it that you act worse than the niggers you are complaining about. There is nothing about this that is logical. Honestly I do not care how bad Blacks act. I think we need to take the high road. Racism is for the lower races who cannot control themselves very well and hence succumb to stupidity, primitive behavior and barbarism. We, the White race, are above all that. If we are really better morally then we have to show it. And we show it by not succumbing to racism and taking the high road when all the other races roll in the mud because they are too primitive to rise about base behavior.
