Objectively, it's a simple white-on-white concept of an outfit that always works well and doesn't need too much mathematics(read: fashion editor's mind in styling), accounts (read: financially top-notch) and literature (read: utterly playful with words to make sense) to pull-off a look that comes directly out of chemistry lab (read: eye-popping gorgeousness).
Judge me! but I love my thrift finds (Shirt with Lace details in this pic). I always try to play with some brand (Mango jeans and Van Heusen Pumps) and thrifted items to achieve a decent look that I can personally pull-off in public and not to cut a picture for Fashion Magazine's street style section. Not that I don' want it to happen, but let's be realistic, I work in full 9 hours and 30 minutes job, my work takes 4 hours of in cab to commute, rest of the time I try to be a good mom, wife and what-not. So, maximum time of a week I spend is "at-work". If I start dressing for street-style fashionista award, some colleagues might jump-off the cliff or throw me down to ensure I belong to them. Anyway!
So, the only place I cook something for blog is my house and only photographer I have is my hubby. I have been planning to buy a remote control for my camera but that day needs a "muhurat" (Read : an auspicious date and time to start something new, buy something new, procrastinate something new), I think!!
So, cutting-short with a lengthy note, that I had been planning to do such outfit for long. Let's be cheesy and honest - since the day I received that cute and jazzy pouch in punchy neon with Pond's face washes!! Then I bought those Van Heusen pump's in camouflage print ( a definition of cool and hip) . I buy a few things to just store, click pictures, sigh, click pictures and store. Exactly in that order! Probably, 1 year down the line, I'd find nerves to wear that in public or may be to office, because, read the first paragraph again. My maximum time is spent at work. Meh!
In short I love how it all turned up sans the contour that need blending like we all need rain in this hot and humid weather of New Delhi-NCR. But do you really care? I don't! because it won't be a surprise if this becomes a trend a few months down the line. Then I'd call my self cool and others a fool. Just kidding! Don't take it personally. It's all about me!
