Most Americans never learn the truth about many foreign policy incidents, especially in war zones and areas of conflict in which the US has an interest for the simple reason that are no major news TV or radio stations, newsmagazines, opinion magazines, or newspapers that are willing to tell the truth about US foreign policy.
I used to think that the media was definitely lying, but know I think that they actually believe almost everything they are reporting. When it comes to US foreign policy, the media simply reaches out to the US government and asks what is going on. Then it simply parrots whatever the US government says about any issue. They always assume that the US government is 100% truthful about everything it says, while in fact, the US government is one of the most deceitful and dishonest organizations on Earth, by design and not by flaw.
