‘ello loves!
Planned on uploading this post about 2 months ago but….. life happened (oh, hello procrastination. LOL). I decided to do a post on fragrances seeing as I love to smell good (doesn’t anyone?) and I thought it’d be fun to share the last few fragrances I’ve used over the past year. This post is also sort of a review on the fragrances as well.

I’m currently using Black XS by Paco Rabanne. I was lucky enough to receive this as a Christmas gift from my lovely aunt last year. At first, I felt as if the perfume wasn’t really up my street in terms of how it smells. I tend to always go for sweet and sometimes fruity scents. The scent has, however, grown on me and I now wear it everyday. It’s sort of a sweet scent with a masculine touch to it. It does last quite long (my clothes that have been in the laundry still smell like it) which is a plus. I’m not too crazy about the packaging though but I’d say that it is a good size to carry on-the-go. Would I recommend it? Hmmm…
Beyoncé ‘Heat’. I was also gifted this by my lovely aunt around mid last year. It was my first time owning a Beyoncé perfume actually. Coming to think of it, I don’t think I ever considered buying any of Beyoncé’s perfumes till I received this one. I quite like it! It also has a sweet scent with floral and vanilla notes. It feels like quite a ‘grown up’ fragrance to wear (if that makes any sense). I love it though, it lasted about 5 months. However, the scent doesn’t last as long. I feel as if you’d need to spritz it, say, twice a day to keep smelling fresh. Would I recommend it? For an everyday fragrance… yes.
Beyoncé ‘Midnight Heat’. This smells slightly different from ‘Heat’ which I’m more inclined to at the moment. I may be biased as I haven’t worn it out yet, but judging from testing it out, it may also be an everyday scent. Not sure I’d recommend it yet…
Marc Jacobs ‘Daisy’. Of course I had to save the best for last! This is by far my favorite fragrance in the world! I really really really really NEED another bottle of this! This fragrance lasts twice as long as Black XS and it smells heavenly. It’s quite floral and fruity and is perfect for warm weather but honestly, I’d wear this all year round. I used this up by mid last year and I’ve been wanting to buy a new one for the longest time! Any good Samaritans out there? :-) I even got 2 of my girlfriends hooked to this perfume as it’s the best in the world. OBVIOUSLY. Would I recommend it? A million times over.
