Despite being born and raised in Wales, until now I have never actually visited it's capital city - quite embarrassing really! One of my best friend's moved down there with his girlfriend in September though, and so this gave me the perfect excuse to take a trip.
For the last couple of days, a few of us have been staying with them in Cardiff - taking in the festive atmosphere around the city, sampling the scrumptious beverages on offer at the German Christmas markets and just generally having a fabulous time :) Walking through the 'Winter Wonderland' and riding the carousel has put me in the best mood imaginable, and I am so excited now for the weeks approaching after all the festive fun we had!
I expect the next big event will probably be the decorating of the Christmas tree :) Can't wait! How are everyone else's holiday preparations coming along so far?
