A new feature of mine that will be starting up, I can't guarantee that this will be an every week thing as most weekends I just don't think I have many interesting things to share.. I suppose it's a nicer way for you to get to know me a little better - You might find on these kinds of post things I have been loving, watching, listening or reading, and probably a run down on my adventures from the weekend. As I like to say my weekend starts on a Friday evening, so here's what I have been upto.
Friday night I was working (not particularly interesting) but we were asked at work to dress up for halloween, it's a little early as I think most people will be celebrating it the following weekend. But we were selling raffle tickets for a chance to win a 'Halloween Hamper' & there was also a cake sale, all of the proceedings go towards the NSPCC Horrah! I think I probably went a little OTT for a 5 hour shift & possibly a little scary as two children were frightened, oops. Go and check out how I created the Wednesday Addams look HERE.
I have been addicted to Miley Cyrus' album, I have been playing it constantly. I really didn't want to like her album especially after I saw the VMA's, I thought it would be really trashy. Surprisingly I was wrong I can't fault it at all the production of the album is great. Have any of you heard it yet? what are your thoughts?
Finding some inspiration can be tricky when you do the same ole' things day in day out. Which is why i love to take an hour out a few times a week to re find my creativity and i've been getting tons of inspiration from Elsie & Emma from A Beautiful Mess & Dana from Wonder Forest
& Finally something to cheer you all up on a gloomy monday.. Me & some friends were just singing loads of songs on saturday night. One of us would start the song off with one line & we would all join in. Obviously we were in a pub full of people with a glass of wine to hand (setting the saturday scene for you) I started one song off with this Rosscan, Rosscan.. (imagine in Phoebe Buffay's voice please) Thankfully they joined in and didn't make me look stupid, so they followed after singing 'Ross can get me the tickets'. I literally have the bestest friends ever *hugs* If your an avid fan of Friends you will know this episode, if your not enjoy the clip below anyways It's hilarious.
