Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating; there is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather.

The weekend brought in a chill, but I just love the coziness it created. Surrounded by amazing company, yummy food and the most beautiful settings (maybe ever), our schedule was brimming with activity – rain or shine!
Starting off the weekend right, we stopped into NEApolitan Pizzeria & Birreria for a proscuitto, arugula and mushroom pie. Their authentic handmade pizzas are simply to die for (and I always save the best for last – their crispy, doughy crust)!
Friday morning meant a joyous J.C. Beans reunion with the cuz (and newest Nook & Sea contributor) over steaming coffee and a vanilla chai with almond milk. We also might have had a photo sesh outside.
Weekend browsing is never complete without a visit to The Old Barn Antiques Mall. I scoured the multi-room shop for vintage apothecary bottles and stumbled upon some SERIOUSLY HARD TO RESIST stuff (i.e. an old door…which I’m not 100% sure what I’d do with, but still).
(Found my bottles!)
That afternoon, I attempted to get rid of a few things around the house (fail) and repurposed the IKEA Hultet dish to display seashells on the coffee table.
Later that evening, we celebrated a very special friend (surprise)!
…and took in the most incredible view!
How was your weekend? Have you scored any special thrifting finds lately?
xoxo
