As mentioned in yesterday’s post, I promised I would fill you all in on my fabulous weekend getaway with the roomie. We hopped on the train to head to her ranch up by Santa Barbara for a little break from the San Diego humidity (it’s so sticky here… ew)!! Anyways, they have an annual hoedown at the ranch where there is live music… tons of food… booze (of course)… beaches… and the best ocean view I have ever seen. It’s been a while since I have been to a place with so much land & nature surrounding me. It couldn’t have been more relaxing, beautiful, and refreshing. Best part of the whole weekend for me was for sure meeting Jeff Bridges and listening to him play the whole Crazy Heart soundtrack. It was pretty unreal. Oh, and Jackson Brown performed as well… which was equally as amazing.
