Warning: a Lot of Skin!

By Saltykisses @svprili

Today was hot hot hot! It was 84F here in Nassau but my body was telling me 104F, if we would have been on anchor I’d probably have been naked all day or better still submerged in the stunning Bahamian water. Jump in the water here you’re bound to come out with a body covered in a thin film of diesel.

All I can say is that we are all ready for this baby to come into the world. I had some pretty bad cramps last night and thought “this is it!” but no, which was ok I was just to tired to go into labor. If only I could pick and choose when I go into labor. 1am this morning everything was running through my mind: “how do I get to the birthing center? Hail a taxi on the road?” “Would Carl just load me in a taxi and wish me the best? We have kids to take care of.” “Would my doctor actually answer her cell phone and open up the center for me or would I be stuck waiting on her in the gutter?” I think all these worries shut my body down and said: “nope not today, you’re not organized enough”. Hell I don’t even have a Pediatrician lined up, that’s on Mondays list of things to do.

So what do you think? Boy or Girl? We have a boys name picked out so it’s bound to be a girl right? Do I feel different to the last 2 pregnancies? Nope, I’m big, awkward and look ridiculous. Let me know what you think and I’ll run a tally.

To put all your minds at ease. Our lovely neighbours here have agreed to take care of the girls if I go into labor before my mom arrives (10 days). The girls love Bambi, tonight they hung out on her boat, watched a movie and had their hair and nails done. They were in girlie heaven, and we had our first peaceful dinner in a LONG TIME. Thanks Bambi!!!
