Not far from Bogense, situated in the north of Funen, is the idyllic island of Æbelø.
Æbelø is a small island, with 2 inhabitants during summer and zero during winter. There is no ferry nor bridge towards it. When the water is low enough, you can reach on foot. And that is what Lars and I tried to do. Unfortunately, we were not wearing proper shoes, so halfway our walk, we had to return.
