Hi Everyone,
Today i am sharing my views about a Bath product- its VLCC Melia Face wash for Normal to Oily Skin fromVLCC India
Price- INR 140 for 80 ml. Easily available on retail and online sites.
Extracts of Margosa Bark (Melia Azadirachta) 2%, Cucumber (Cucumis Sativus) 1%, Aloe Vera (Aloe Indica) 3%, Soap Pods (Acaia Concinna) 3%, Orange Peel (Citrus Aurantium) 1% & Sandalwood (Santalum Album) 0.5%, Chamomile Oil (Anthemis Nobilis) 0.3%, Honey 2%, Cleanser Base Q.S.
The ingredient list seems quite impressive with all antiseptic contents. Here cleanser base is not clearly mentioned which creates doubt.
The Product comes in It is a I just need a dollop and it transparent squeezy tube with a flip cap. looks good with the green gel and pretty label with neem leaves printed and details of the product on the rear side. packaging is lot more improved from the previous ones. The revived packaging of VLCC products is quite attractive.
light green gel with medium consistency. it smells quite weird like a local soap solution which many of us wont like.
creates rich lather to cover my face and neck. It cleans well without leaving any greasy residue behind. Also its gentle enough not to rip off essential oil/moisture from the skin.
Actually i purchased this for its claims of protection from pimples. i found that my
skin was not very dry but i was having several breakouts but it sis not help in drying those or controlling the new ones. During winters i hardly have excess oil on my face but yes i do have dry patches and acne/pimples to changing weather. I look for an antiseptic cleanser to handle my acne/pimples apart from good cleansing. But VLCC Melia Face wash is just a simple cleanser and
does not live upto the claims.
Overall VLCC Melia Face Wash for Normal to Oily skin is an average cleanser and disappoints on its anti-pimple claims. Worth trying!
My Rating- 3/5
