Vintage Shopping in Boscombe

By Threadandbutter @threadandbutter

VINTAGE SHOPPING IN BOSCOMBEVintage fashion and culture seem to of taken the world by storm in the last few years with boutiques and markets cropping up here, there and everywhere. Boscombe is not somewhere that is particularly new to this as it has established it's own vintage quarter close to Pokesdown train station. The latest addition to Bournemouth's collection is Bournemouth Vintage Emporium located on Christchurch Road. The reinvented warehouse hosts a huge open space which is now filled with a collections of vintage treasures from local traders. I took these photos during the first few week of it opening which is why the space may look a little empty. However, now it has become more established and I hear it is full to the brim with treasures. If shopping all becomes a little too much for you and you require a little TLC then there is also somewhere for you. With it's own vintage inspired salon and cafe there is something to cater for everyone. Visit their website, facebook and twitter pages for more information and to keep up to date with local events.  VINTAGE SHOPPING IN BOSCOMBEVINTAGE SHOPPING IN BOSCOMBE
VINTAGE SHOPPING IN BOSCOMBEOn our way to Bournemouth Vintage Emporium we also decided to pop in a few vintage shops on the way down to have a rummage. I rarely buy anything from vintage shops as I find a lot of the prices are too expensive for stock that can be easily found for a margin of the price at car boot sales. However, if your not one for getting up early on a Sunday morning then here is your answer. My favorite vintage shop along Christchurch Road was The Attic as they had some beautiful little smock dresses and a good selection of jewelry and accessories. VINTAGE SHOPPING IN BOSCOMBE
