The V Festival is an annual music festival in England, the first to be held simultaneously at two sites. Originally, the festival took the name of the current year, with the first festival being named “V96″. Since 2003 it has been known as simply the V Festival.

Organized by Metropolis Music and SJM Concerts, V Festival is held at Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Weston Park in South Staffordshire simultaneously. V Festival sites share the same line-up, artists perform at one location on Saturday and then swap on Sunday. The ‘V’ represents the Virgin Group, with V Festival being sponsored by Virgin Media.

Its too early to speculate the festival 2014 lineup but if you know of any rumours, please let us know.

Hylands has over 574 acres of Grade 2 listed parkland, showcasing an important example of Landscape Architect Humphry Repton’s influence during the 19th Century. Today Hylands House, also listed, can be hired for weddings corporates and events. The Stables Visitor Centre with Gift Shop, Cafe and Artist Studios are surrounded by colourful Pleasure Gardens and an award winning contemporary garden. Ancient Woodlands, Grasslands and a Serpentine Lake all provide
important habitat for a number of protected species. The park also boasts a new all-inclusive Adventure Castle play area for our younger visitors

Weston Park is one of the most welcoming stately homes with as much character as any English castle and with as many stories as any royal home. The grounds of Weston Park combine 1,000 acres of natural beauty with three centuries of garden design. From the formal lines and long avenues of the 17th century gardens to the unique style added by ‘Capability’ Brown in the 18th century.
