Illusion, Oz & South I was lucky enough to win this gorgeous palette in a giveaway over on Aqeela's blog a couple of weeks ago and I have completely fallen in love.Urban Decay launched two palettes to go with the film Oz The Great And Powerful that came out a month or so ago. (I still need to see it)
This is the Glinda Palette which represents the good witch, Glinda from the film. The Palette contains 6 eye shadows, two of which are a duo shades. They are stored in a sleek tin casing similar to the build your own palettes UD do for their permanent shades. All the shades are limited edition and have never been seen before. The palette also includes a Super Saturated Lip Colour in Glinda and a 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Rockstar. There is a instructional leaflet inside as well which tells you how to recreate the look of Glinda from the film, which I think is a fantastic idea.
I found the lighter shades in the palette needed some building up but apart from that I found all the shadows to be pigmented, soft and easy to apply. The 24/7 liner is smooth like the other liners from UD and stays in place all day, but the thing that stood out the most for me is the Super Saturated Lip Colour. Glinda is a your lips but better color and stays on the lips for a long time as well as staying glossy.
Overall I am really impressed with this palette and I would love to get my hands on the Thedora palette so I have the pair.
