We have two comrades throwing down hard in the trees of White Castle on day 3. This afternoon they were greeted with revving chainsaws close to the life lines that maintain their safety. These two forest defenders have been living on a platform suspended from old growth douglas fir trees that are meant for the chopping block. Workers were clearing the road to gain access to the sit when they were notified that there are people up in the trees, and that their lives are dependent on these life lines.
When we say no compromise, we mean we’re not leaving.
